Secluded Cabins, Garden Cabins, and the Artists’ Village

The guest cabins at Carmey Avdat provide a different kind of accommodation that enables guests to relax and connect with nature – rather than offering luxury and elegance. You will sense a desire to blend naturally into the environment and the farm, get out and explore the paths on the farm and vineyard, or enjoy magnificent sunsets and the starlit night sky from the lookout point. The comfortable and cozy cabins are designed in the spirit of the beauty and power of the desert with large windows overlooking the view. Hannah creatively framed some of the windows – transforming the beautiful panorama into a picture on the cabin wall. Television sets are totally unnecessary in these serene and beautiful surroundings.
Enjoy a shady patio with a comfortable outdoor seating area where you can take advantage of the cool morning air or afternoon breeze, or prepare a meal over a campfire beneath the stars. Refresh yourself in a private bathing pool designed like a desert oasis that fills up with floodwaters of the desert, . Relax in a barrel-shaped wooden sauna, visit the winery or coffee house, or walk through the orchards or hike to one of the lookout points around the farm. Choose from a variety of cabins including secluded cabins on the hillside, garden cabins surrounded by greenery, or rustic artists’ workshops that overlook the view and central area of the farm.

Lodging in all the cabins includes an Israeli breakfast and a complimentary carafe of house wine.

Guests in the cabins must be 16 or older.

Secluded Cabins

A private vacation Getaway

Four secluded cabins are scattered along the hillside on the farm. These cabins provide seclusion and privacy. Each has a double bed, seating area, fully equipped kitchen, and an ecological pellet stove that burns recycled materials from the woodworking industry – offering a sense of an outdoor desert campfire inside the cabin. Each cabin has a private patio with a hammock, a campfire site and grill, jacuzzi. and refreshing bathing pool that can be enjoyed during the summer.

Garden Cabins

Cabins Surrounded by Greenery and Birdsong

The two garden cabins are located near the vineyard close to each other. They are hidden from view by fruit trees and lush greenery that provide privacy. The cabins have one room with a double bed, fully-equipped kitchen, seating area, bathroom, and shower. Each cabin has a private patio and refreshing bathing pool , outdoor seating area, hammock, and campfire site and grill.
There is a parking space next to each cabin.

The Artists’ Village

Wine barrels inspired units

The “Artists’ Village” is a group of eight vacation units for couples or three adults. These cabins are located on a hill overlooking the vineyard. The units are shaped like wine barrels, and many of their furnishings are built from used wine barrels, giving them a unique rustic atmosphere.

Each unit has a double bed, single bed, bar table and chairs, refrigerator, espresso machine, ecological pellet stove, bathroom and shower, and private patio with outdoor seating where guests can enjoy the starry desert night sky.

Breakfast for guests in the Artists’ Village is served in the Mona Coffee House.

Enjoy the unique quiet of the desert, feel a natural connection to the farm and the surroundings, and view the magnificent sunsets.

Guests Age

Guests on Carmey Avdat must be 16 or older.

Check in/out times

Check-in is from 3:00 PM until 8:00 every day.
Guests must check out by 11:00 AM.

Accessibility

All public areas of the farm including the winery and coffee shop are wheelchair accessible.
The cabins are not wheelchair accessible. They can be reached on foot by a well-lit path. There is no vehicle access to the secluded cabins, and they are not suitable for persons with mobility limitations.

Smoking

Smoking is forbidden in all the cabins.

Pets

Pets are not allowed on the farm.

Internet Connection

All cabins and public areas on the farm have WIFI Internet connection.

Cancellation Policy

1 Cabin Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. Guests must pay full price if they cancel less than 7 days before arrival.

2 Cabins Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. Guests must pay full price if they cancel less than 14 days before.

3 or More Cabins Cancellation is free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. Guests must pay full price if they cancel less than 21 days before.

Changes in date of arrival can be arranged if circumstances permit.
