Rustic Vacation Units for Couples
The eight Artists’ Village Cabins are an ideal vacation spot for couples, groups of friends, or families with children aged 16+. Each cabin has a double bed, bathroom and shower, bar table, refrigerator, and facilities for preparing coffee and tea, but no kitchenette. There is an ecological pellet stove for heating in the winter. All cabins have a private patio with a seating area where guests can enjoy a view of the moon and the stars.
Guests in the Artists’ Cabins have access to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen area with a barbecue, stovetop cooking area, toaster oven, pots and pans, dishes, and cutlery, and a refrigerator stocked with wine, beer, and soft drinks. There is even a pizza oven for preparing homemade pizza. Guests can also purchase firewood and charcoal. During the summer four refreshing bathing tubs are available under the trees in the nearby orchard’ just beside the coffee house.
Breakfast for guests in the Artists’ Cabins is served in the “Mona Coffee House”.
Our Family Boutique Winery
Our vineyard and winery were among the first to be established in the Negev. Carmey Avdat is considered to be a pioneer in the production of Negev wines, and the farm has been instrumental in promoting the Negev wine Route as an exciting tourist attraction. We produce ten different varieties of wine, and guests on the farm are offered a 10% discount on most of the varieties.

Where is the breakfast served?
Breakfast is served at Cafe Mona between 8:00-11:00.
Is there a vegan breakfast menu?
Yes. You can order a vegan breakfast when you make your reservation.
Is the breakfast kosher?
The Mona Coffee House serves only dairy meals, but it is open on Shabbat and does not have a kashrut certificate.
Can guests prepare meals in the Artists’ Colony cabins?
The Artists’ Village cabins have no kitchens, but there is a communal outdoor area nearby with tables and benches, utensils, sink, campfire site, and grill. We can provide a poyke pot for preparing a desert stew over a campfire or grill. Wood and charcoal can be purchased on the farm.
Are pets allowed on the farm?
No pets are allowed on the farm.
How can we arrange a visit to the winery?
The winery is open throughout the week from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You can arrange a tour of the winery and wine tasting with the members of the staff when you arrive.

Is there parking next to the cabins?
Guests in the Artists’ village can park in the parking lot that is about 40 yards from the village. The staff will be happy to help you transport your belongings in our service vehicle.

There is a wading pool complex during the hot season.

There is a large and spacious shower, but no jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is available only in the isolated cabins.
Is there a sauna?
Yes. The sauna on the farm is open to all guests.
Do the cabins have a view?
The Artists’ Village units overlook the vineyard and the Zim River gorge.
Is there a WiFi connection?
All guest accommodations on the farm have Internet access.
